  INTRODUCTION

UEFA Champions League is one of the most popular league of this world. UEFA is also known as European Champions League. The UEFA Champions League is an yearly continental club football competition played by several teams unionized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The UEFA is contested by top-section European clubs. As the UEFA is famous worldwide so it’s final is one of the biggest event of the world. And there is a large audience for watching this tournament from worldwide.

       From start Europe is providing four teams but from 2015 and 2016 they are providing five teams, all the teams are professionally trained and the best Europe players are selected in it. Introduced in 1992, the competition replaced the European Champion Clubs' Cup, or simply European Cup, which had run since 1955, adding a group stage to the competition and allowing multiple entrants from certain countries

There are 32 teams in this tournament each team play to win the UEFA trophy for its nation. All the 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four teams. The eight group winners and their runner ups have math with each other.

History

      The first one European tournament was one of the most famous Challenge Cup, it’s just like a fight between clubs in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Coupe des Nations .
The tournament was won by Újpest of Hungary. One of the famous competition cup is Mitropa Cup, this competition is cancelled  an idea of Austrian Hugo Meisl, and played between Central European clubs. After Stan Cullis declared Wolverhampton Wanderers it was in 1930 "World Champions" are following a prosperous run of friendship in the 1950s, in particular a 3 to 2 friendly victory against of  Budapest.  The UEFA  is  finally managed by Honvéd, Hanot to put into practice such a tournament.

Branding

  UEFA also have some commercial partners In 1991, Television Event and Media Marketing (TEAM), to help "brand" the Champions League. TEAM uses their free time to give extra attention to search in  how the starball and colors are represented at matches. According to TEAM, "Irrespective of whether you are a spectator in Moscow or Milan, you will always see the same stadium dressing materials, the “starball” opening ceremony is one of the same center circle ceremony, and it was haired to be the same UEFA Champions League Anthem". Based on research it conducted, TEAM concluded that by 1999, "the starball logo had achieved a recognition rate of 94 percent among fans".

Referees

As UEFA is one of the largest league so professional referees are appointed for their matches. Referees are appointed from five different countries : “France , Germany , Italy , England and Spain “. All the referees are fully trained and they are first tested . Referees are appointed by their fitness level,  their marks and their tests. UEFA referee committee appoints the referee it must pass a test of international level  . There are also some age limits for the referee , All the referee appoints between the age of 45 if the referee is over 45 then it must be drop down .

PRIZES

As usual there are also some prizes for the wining team and the player  whom have fulfilled their  conditions . THE main prize for the winning team is the “European Champions Club’s Cup” . From 2012 forty gold medals  and forty silver medals are given to the winning team  and the runner up team .
