            History of Ballon d'Or

According to history , the preeminent particular or special awards in football association were the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year award. The real or original Ballon d'Or, also known as the European Footballer of the Year award, had been given ed by the French publication France Football since 1956. FIFA is the sport,s governing body from 1991, FIFA, gives this Ballon d'Or award to the winner team.

       From 2005, the winners of the Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year award were supportable each year. Following the origination of a planetary Ballon d'Or initialize in 2007, France Football and FIFA opted to unify the two awards. The initiative award was presented that same year to the Argentine Lionel Messi. The foundation of the FIFA Ballon d'Or was afterwards proclaimed during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

                  INTRODUCTION

Later a few years participation, France Football and FIFA concluded the joint award.Both awarding bodies regard the six editions of the FIFA Ballon d'Or as a prolongation of their respective awards, for historical purposes. Lionel Messi had received the final FIFA Ballon d'Or.

            Awarded jointly by FIFA and France Football, the prize was a merger of the FIFA World Player of the Year award and the Ballon d'Or, the two most esteemed individual honors in world football. The FIFA Ballon d'Or ( "Golden Ball") was an annual association football award presented to the world's best men's player from 2010 to 2015. The FIFA Ballon d'Or was award is based on votes from international journalists and national team coaches and captains, who selected the players they deemed to have performed the best in the previous calendar year.

               As part of their ongoing rivalry.  The final FIFA Ballon d'Or was presented to Messi in 2015. There are many editions of FIFA Ballon d'Or and the six editions of the FIFA Ballon d'Or were henpecked by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Football club Barcelona's  Messi won the inaugural Ballon d'Or in 2010, before retaining the title twice. Ronaldo, who plays for Real Madrid,had won successive awards in the recent two years.Its awarding bodies later on ended their partnership; for 2016, France Football reintroduced the previous format of the Ballon d'Or, while FIFA created the Best FIFA Men's Player award.
